Dr. RAJESH K. PALLAN is a freelance Journalist and an author of four books in English literature, and one in Punjabi entitled "Silaahbe Rishte Ate Hor Kahaneeyaa" in press.

After earning a Ph.D. degree in English literature in 1987, Dr. Pallan immigrated to Canada after receiving a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Govt. of Canada in 1989. He has earned his Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Guelph (University of Toronto).

Since then, Dr. Pallan's articles and short stories have been frequently appearing in the Indian Express, the Tribune, the Ajit Jalandhar (India) and in Parvasi, The Weekly Voice (Toronto), Indo-Canadian Times, International Punjabi Tribune (Vancouver) and also in the Dawn (Pakistan).

Dr. Pallan has also done scores of book-reviews both in English and Punjabi.
 
In 2022,  Dr. Pallan was awarded Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Award for his “outstanding commitment to public service and dedication” to the South Asian community as a Journalist.
